Hello, my name is Ruth. I was born and raised in El Paso.  After high school, I moved to Houston and later lived in various parts of Texas following college.

 

In 2021, I decided to return to my roots in El Paso, where I discovered and fell in love with this beautiful piece of land.  I named it Deslo Farm as a heartfelt tribute to my two sons, Desmond and Logan.

What started as a dream has grown into my passion project. With the support of my family, friends, and the community, I am dedicated to transforming Deslo Farm into a pillar of sustainability, a source of locally grown produce, and a haven for conservation.

The process will be slow but I am excited for the journey.
